Flowers are the most beautiful way to express one’s feelings, their fragrance and colour brings a sense of freshness and beauty in the life of our loved ones. The gifts presented in the form of flowers are the best gifts ever given to someone. Though, flowers cannot be stored for life time, but gifts in the form of flowers are the most precious gift, memories of which always remain in the heart of the person forever. The flowers are offered to the deity at in worship confer devotion, prosperity and gratitude.

The “heart” is infinitely vast and profound. Buddhism teaches, “it is the heart that is important”. If one’s heart is filled with the resolve to strive together with one’s mentor, to dedicate one’s life to the happiness of our family and friends, and to realize the grand version of World Peace (kosen-rufu), one’s life will surely be filled with boundless benefits and a good fortune.
Making offerings is an act that connects directly to this great vow of peace and happiness is equivalent to supporting and assisting the realization of great vow. For this reason, the sincere act of making offerings accrue boundless benefit and good fortune in one’s life.

Radha Krishna

Size: 24″ * 18″
(Kerala, popularly called the God’s own country, has a rich tradition of ancient murals. considered unique for their colour and form, the murals of Kerala stand out for their emphasis on beauty, clarity and symmetry. These predominantly depict religious and mystic themes. Kerala mural paintings are the frescos depicting mythology and legends, which are drawn on the walls of temples and churches in South India, principally in Kerala.)

The legends of Radha Krishna have become immortal.  Radha’s devotion and dedication towards Sri Krishna is the most sincere one.

Love and longing go hand in hand. If you long for something, then you love it. If you really love something, you will long for it. Can there be something that is without longing? Can there be a love without longing? No. Longing is part of love,  it is the other face of love. That is why this is called a couple, Radha means longing, Krishna means love. Krishna is the embodiment of love, and Radha is the longing. When you understand and are aware of this phenomenon, take this longing as part of love, then love becomes the Divine love. It grows. When we long for something, we don’t allow the longing to be there, we don’t experience it, we go through it. Radha went through it…….

The Universe inside her…..

She had stars behind each eyelid,
And galaxy in her soul,
That drew people to her endless heart,
Like the pull of black hole,
She was made of earth and fire,
Of wishes cast on shooting stars,
She was a brand new solar system,
Unlike the ones they’d know so far,
With constellations ever changing,
No one could memorise her skies,
And they thought the thing for them to do,
Was bring her to their size,
They shrunk the universe within her,
Told her her vast expanse was wrong,
That she should make her life much smaller,
If she wanted to belong,
As they collapsed her world around her,
She felt her inner stars grow cold,
Until her life was far too heavy,
For her once strong arms to hold,
You might wonder how it happened,
But I guess that it makes sense,
Because a life becomes much heavier,
When its the universe condensed…..

Water colour Journal…

Medium: Water colour

Water colour seems so easy to paint with but is the most difficult medium to master on. I am learning to do water colours, using no technique and then to try on with is the struggle.  One , Two and three and more with mistakes with flaws in it I will make a masterpiece.     A journey with water colours is the most beautiful one.

Don’t be afraid to try new things. They aren’t all going to work, but when you find the one that does, you’re going to be so proud of yourself for trying …

“I sometimes think how is anyone come up with a book, or a painting, or a symphony, or a sculpture that can compete with a great city. You can not. because you look around and every street, every boulevard is its own special art form….”

Peace

 Medium: oil paints on canvas
Size: 20″ * 18″

“We can never obtain peace and happiness in outer world until we seek happiness and peace within ourselves.                                                                                                                                                                             – Buddha.

Finding happiness is to understand that happiness always comes from inside yourself.   Even if your experience of happiness appears to be coming from an outer source or event, the actual happiness is coming from within you.

My First painting to be hanged. 🙂
